5. Cookies & Analytics
We use cookies, web beacons, pixels, and similar technologies to operate our website, understand how it is used, and customize experiences. You can adjust your browser settings to refuse cookies; however, doing so may limit certain features. We may also use third-party analytics tools such as Google Analytics to help us understand website traffic and usage patterns.
6. Shopify & TikTok App Data
When you install our TikTok Feed or other Shopify apps, we process the minimum data required to provide the features you enable. This may include:
- Shop information (name, domain, primary contact) provided by Shopify during OAuth.
- Encrypted TikTok access and refresh tokens stored in our database solely to sync your content.
- Video metadata (ID, title, thumbnail URL) and product mappings you create inside the app.
- Operational telemetry such as queue activity or sync timestamps used to keep the app reliable.
We never sell merchant data or use it for advertising. Credentials are encrypted at rest, and you can disconnect TikTok or uninstall the app at any time to revoke access. After uninstall, we purge credentials immediately and remove residual app data within 30 days (or sooner upon request).
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. The retention period may vary depending on the nature of the information and our contractual requirements.
8. Data Security
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International Data Transfers
Shopi Studio is based in the United States.
